The Opportunity

You will manage a growing team of analysts provide strategic financial advice and guidance, helping stakeholders across our Line of Service to optimize their financial performance and make informed business decisions. You have experience of delivering Finance Business Partnering to senior stakeholders at global organisations and relish the opportunity to shape and manage a high-performing team to deliver high quality insights to Finance and business leaders.

Responsibilities 

 

As manager of a growing team of Finance Business Partnering analysts, you will be responsible for all aspects of operational delivery, including: 

 

Performance management 

  • Guiding teams in the successful planning, execution, and completion of financial projects 

  • Encouraging team development by mentoring and leveraging individual strengths to meet client expectations 

  • Completion of performance management activities in line with Acceleration Center India policies and guidance 

 

Process improvement 

  • Implementation and monitoring of KPIs/metrics across the team to identify opportunities for improvement 

  • Implement an environment of continuous improvement across the team 

  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, standardisation, and automation 

  • Promoting the use of innovative technologies and methodologies to improve financial reporting and analysis 

 

Stakeholder management 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Line of Service leadership, building strong and credible relationships 

  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to understand business priorities and requirements 

  • Act as a point of escalation, addressing conflicts and engaging in constructive conversations with stakeholders to resolve issues 

 

Policies & Guidelines 

  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency 

  • Overseeing the maintenance and analysis of financial records to validate compliance with accounting standards 

  • Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements 

 

Business Partnering 

  • Provide oversight of business partnering activities completed by the team, ensuring adherence to policies and accounting standards 

  • Oversee the delivery of all finance outputs (reporting, forecasting, analysis), ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness

     

    What You Must Have 

    • At least 8-13 years of overall experience 

    • Oral and written proficiency in English required 

    • 5–6 years’ experience managing teams in a shared services or centralised finance environment 

    • Proven experience of leading, developing, and performance managing teams 

    • Strong experience in setting KPIs, tracking performance, and driving delivery excellence 

    • Experience working with global senior stakeholders and leadership teams, with a track record of influencing decision-making and driving business outcomes 

    • A relevant finance qualification such as CIMA or ACCA 

    • Demonstrating proficiency in financial budgeting and reporting 

    • Utilizing strategic questioning to drive stakeholder management 

    • Excelling in coaching and mentoring team members 

    • Embracing technology and innovation for process improvement 

    • Developing skills outside your comfort zone and encouraging others 

     

    What Sets You Apart 

    • Extensive experience of delivering finance business partnering to global matrix organisations (ideally professional services) 

    • Comfortable with ambiguity and change, particularly managing teams through change and growth 

    • Strong relationship builder who demonstrates an ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders 

    • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset, with examples of implementing process improvement projects 

    • Experience of SAP S/4 HANA is beneficial
