Job Description
In this role, your core responsibility will be to safeguard our logistics operations by monitoring logistics-related cancellations, identifying vulnerabilities, and neutralizing all vectors of rider fraud.
If you have a sharp eye for anomalies, a background in risk management, and the drive to protect our platform's ecosystem from exploitation, this is the role for you!
What You Will Do
As the owner of Rider Compliance, you will develop frameworks, analyze data, and enforce strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to combat four main categories of fraud:
1. Order Cancellation & Delivery Fraud Mitigation
Monitor & Reduce Cancellations: Investigate and curb fraudulent cancellation spikes
Prevent Hijacking & Asset Loss: Build systems to track "Silent Pickups," redispatch loopholes, and Return Frauds (failure to return cancelled goods to darkstores or vendors).
Audit Exploitations: Track and penalize riders exploiting safety policies
2. Technical & Location Fraud Detection
App & Identity Integrity: Partner with tech teams to detect the use of unauthorized or modified applications, and prevent account sharing to ensure riders are only operating under their own verified profiles.
Location Manipulation: Utilize tools and spatial data to detect location anomalies
Account Misuse: Crack down on Account Sharing, Multiapping, and automated Shift Selling that damage fleet efficiency and customer experience.
3. Financial Abuse & Asset Protection
Cash Collection Security: Manage Cash Runaway Risks and Rider Bad Debt. Enforce hard limits and track aging balances for unremitted COD funds
Payout & Fee Manipulation: Audit and prevent manipulation of the rider payout structure
Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in fraud investigations, risk management, compliance, or logistics operations (preferably in the gig economy or last-mile delivery).
Technical & Analytical Skills: SQL and Excel are preferred. You must be able to query datasets to find hidden patterns.
Investigative Mindset: Deep familiarity with fraud vectors (GPS spoofing, app cloning, social engineering). You know how to connect the dots between a spiked metric and human behavior.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work alongside Customer Service, Vendor Management, and Product teams to close system loopholes and enforce operational SOPs.
Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex fraud rings and technical anomalies into clear, actionable reports for upper management.
