How you’ll make an impact in this role
Direct Resident Care: Deliver basic bedside care to long-term care residents under the direction of an RN or physician within licensed scope.
Clinical Data Collection: Assist RNs in patient assessments by gathering and documenting essential clinical data.
Medication & Treatment Delivery: Administer prescribed medications, perform simple therapeutic services and routine lab tests, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Patient & Family Education: Educate residents and families on treatment plans, post-discharge self-care, holistic health needs, and community resources.
Safety & Emergency Response: Identify safety hazards or emergency situations and initiate immediate corrective action to protect residents.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date requred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
