While the back-end team handles the "plumbing" of global travel, you will own the Product Experience. You'll build the interfaces that help independent travel designers scale their earnings by removing "admin drag" and replacing it with beautiful, high-performance tools.🛠 What You’ll BuildThe Destination Expert Portal: A high-speed dashboard for itinerary creation and sales management. The DMC Portal: A collaborative interface for global suppliers to confirm services and manage digital invoicing seamlessly. The Back Office: A streamlined view for updating destinations, services, and accounting of complex trips.Dynamic Itinerary Delivery: Crafting the client-facing digital experience that makes an SA Expeditions trip look as premium as it feels.🎯 Who You AreA UX-First Engineer: You don't just build to spec; you think about the user’s cognitive load. You know when a modal is better than a new page and when a keyboard shortcut is better than a button.A Component Architect: You believe in building a scalable, reusable design system (using React, Vue, or similar) so we can ship features faster over time.A Visual Storyteller: You have an eye for luxury aesthetics. You understand that in the travel world, "look and feel" is a core part of the product’s value.Data-Visualizer: You can take a complex "Lead Score" or a "Margin Analysis" and turn it into a clear, actionable graphic for a designer.✅ Technical Requirements5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.Strong UI/UX design skills: Experience with Figma and a proven track record of translating designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code.State Management Expertise: Comfortable handling complex, nested data (like multi-city, multi-day itineraries).Performance Focused: Experience in optimizing load times for a global user base (essential for DMCs in regions with varying internet speeds).Collaborative Spirit: Experience working closely with Solutions Architects to integrate complex APIs and financial logic.🚀 Why SA Expeditions? We aren't just another travel booking site. What was the single most frustrating technical compromise you had to make between a high-end design requirement and a frontend performance constraint? How do you prevent the Rokit interface from looking like a cluttered Excel spreadsheet while ensuring the designer doesn't have to click five times to find a hotel's net rate? Describe a specific UI pattern you’ve implemented for this level of density. *Your answerMany teams default to popular 'everything-in-the-box' UI libraries (like MUI or Mantine). Tell us why using one of these might be a terrible choice for the Rokit Command Center specifically, and what you would propose instead. *Your answerOur DMCs in remote regions often work on 3G...
