Kitchen Attendant - Full Time (Horseshoe Hammond)

To assist in providing a superior gaming experience, unattainable by our competitor, where guests can indulge themselves without apology. Responsible for overseeing activities of utility workers, assist in eliminating operating difficulties. Oversees loading and unloading of dishwashers, clean kitchen area, food storage preparation, follow health and safety regulations.  This position performs functions of work outside the gaming space, with some performing all or a bulk of their work back of house.

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times, clean and well groomed as per standards
• Meets with utility workers to assign designated work areas
• Take attendance and administer any paperwork that is presented to them
• Reports to supervisor on a daily basis

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission, if applicable.
• Access to the vessel is required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull objects on a cart over 100 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach repetitively
• Must be able to use a ladder and carry objects on a ladder.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to operate all equipment/utensils safely.
• Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a crowded, smoking, and loud environment
