Position Summary
In your role as an Engineer Team Representative for the Equipment Innovation – Equipment Management Team. This team is focused on Stop Loss and BM reduction for the factory via joint-work with Fab Eng on PM Automation, BM analysis, Quality Improvements, and Root Cause Analysis.As a leader you will work together to eliminate BM and Stop Loss problems.
Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Demonstrate effective collaboration with FAB Engineering to improve Unit Part metrics.
- Data collection, analysis, and collaborative improvements of Unit Part performance in Stop Loss Reduction, BM Reduction, MTTP Improvement, G-EMS standardization, and PM Automation.
- Participate and Manage TFTs activities to improve Stop Loss factory wide.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, Sister Fabs, support groups, and executives to ensure compliance to external and internal specifications and guidance.
- Lead the deployment of medium to large-scale projects that are cross-functional in nature and have visibility to company executives.
- Analyze and make recommendations to help improve Stop Loss major and minor indices for each department’s processes and programs.
- Communicate the results of analysis, drive improvements and share with peers, managers, and executives.
- Study opportunities and drive implementation with the unit parts, including 2nd source qual, lifetime extension, usage reduction, repair loops, part delivery times, and other LDT events.
- Project management, Daily/Weekly/Monthly metric reporting, and status updates.
- Enforce rules & systems based operation to all employees while ensuring SAS procedures are continuously evolving and current.
- The position will require an extensive amount of time working directly with and supporting the engineering team functions.
- Expectation is to have proficiency in project management, reporting, data visualization, and data-mining.
- S1 & S2 Stop Loss comparison and collaboration on analysis and improvement projects.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
- BS degree in engineering, natural science or related field preferred
- 7+ years of engineering experience preferred
- Previous experience in a leadership position with direct reports
- Knowledge of Line KPI re BM, Stop Loss, EE, Rundown, OEE
- Experience with Fab and reporting systems. G-EMS and Work order tracking is a must Additionally, Workplace, DSS, GPM, Simax OI, TPSS, MARS Prime, Spotfire.
- Experience with SQL or data scraping a plus.
- Familiar with Customer Relations, SCM, and PMP concepts.
The current base salary range for this role is between $147,000 and $244,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors such as duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may also provide opportunities for participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on organizational and individual performance.
