## About this Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to support the development, configuration, and optimisation of data integration pipelines using Oracle GoldenGate. The role involves adding new data sources, implementing data quality checks, managing infrastructure for high availability, and contributing to migration activities, including transitions from Berlin to Ratingen. The individual will work within the BIBDA team and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Solstice programme.
## What you’ll do
* Deliver end-to-end testing for all assigned data integration components.
* Develop and configure Oracle GoldenGate environments from the ground up, including addition of new data sources.
* Implement data quality checks to ensure reliable and accurate data flows.
* Contribute to process optimisation, cost efficiencies, and tool adoption across the delivery function.
* Support infrastructure setup activities, including high‑availability configurations.
* Participate in migration programmes and operational activities within VF‑DE initiatives.
* Uphold quality processes and continuous improvement principles within the Service Line.
## Who you are
* Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to deliver as agreed.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Strong data interpretation and analysis skills.
* Detailed-oriented approach with innovative thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* 4–8 years of relevant professional experience.
* Desired technical expertise:
* Oracle GoldenGate
* Oracle SQL (11g/12c)
* Veridata
* Linux
* GoldenGate Kafka, GCP
* Knowledge of cloud platforms and database technologies.
