Senior Director, Data Center Facilities Development

As the Senior Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful construction and development of data centers. Your strategic oversight and leadership will be instrumental in guiding colocation providers to meet project timelines, stay within budget, and maintain exceptional quality standards. • Provide strategic direction and leadership for data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with Oracle's vision and goals.
• Collaborate with colocation providers to develop and execute project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, meeting Oracle's stringent requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including various Oracle departments, to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Oversee the selection and management of contractors and vendors, ensuring their compliance with Oracle's standards and best practices.
• Implement robust project management processes, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies, to minimize potential delays or issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to incorporate best practices into project planning.

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required, with a preference for a master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the data center industry, with a proven track record of leading complex construction projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
