We champion an inclusive culture and strive to attract and develop a talented workforce to create and deliver a wide range of content reflecting our world.Job DescriptionAs a Producer for TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging daily segments with a strong focus on pop culture, celebrity interviews, human interest, and lifestyle content.PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 24 months or less, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.  Job DutiesPitch, develop, and produce original segments centered on pop culture, celebrity news, human interest, topical conversations and lifestyle content.Manage all aspects of segments, including composing research packets, conducting pre-interviews, writing questions, coordinating props, prepping elements and briefing co-hosts.Produce both live and taped segments, coordinating shoot logistics, working closely with co-hosts, crew, and overseeing edit sessions.Brainstorm fresh and creative content, identify and book new guests and develop franchises.Work with Standards & Legal team to ensure editorial standards of all segments.Qualifications5+ years of editorial experience in production at the network level with morning or daytime televisionBachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experienceDemonstrates strong knowledge and interest in pop culture and current eventsMust be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short noticePossesses ability to develop story ideas, research and plan segmentsMust be willing/able to work in NYCDesired Characteristics:Passionate about human-interest storytelling and lifestyle contentExcellent interpersonal skills and storytelling abilityAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignmentsSelf-starter with a proactive mindsetKnowledge of NBC News policies, guidelines, and practicesAdditional Requirements:Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be consideredHybrid: this position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
