At OneStep, we believe every step tells a story.

A story about health. About recovery. About independence. About risk. And increasingly, a story that healthcare can use to make better decisions and improve lives.

Already used by more than 250,000 patients and powered by more than 35 billion steps analyzed, our patented technology turns any smartphone into clinically validated movement intelligence, capturing meaningful data as people move through everyday life. We help healthcare organizations detect changes earlier, personalize care, and improve clinical and financial outcomes at scale.

Our mission is to establish movement as the 6th vital sign and help healthcare understand the science behind every step. That requires more than great technology. It requires a brand that inspires trust, stories that educate the market, and a marketing organization that consistently delivers high-impact work.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a creative Brand & Storytelling Leader to build one of healthcare's most distinctive brands, help define how Movement Intelligence is understood around the world, and lead Marketing Program Management, building the marketing engine that will power OneStep's next stage of growth.

Working at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Clinical, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership, reporting to the Chief Growth and Marketing Officer, you'll lead brand strategy, thought leadership, creative direction, content, social media, and marketing operating system - ensuring every touchpoint reflects a compelling story, a differentiated brand, and a marketing organization built for growth.

What you’ll lead

Help redefine how healthcare understands human movement.

  • You'll combine strategic brand thinking, exceptional storytelling, creative excellence, and operational discipline to shape how OneStep is experienced across every touchpoint while building the systems that enable marketing to scale.

Brand, Storytelling & Content Leadership

  • Shape and evolve the OneStep brand across every audience and customer touchpoint, ensuring every interaction reflects a distinctive, inspiring, and trusted brand.
  • Define and champion the company's brand narrative, voice, and creative standards.
  • Create campaigns, stories, and experiences that don't just explain what OneStep does, but inspire people to believe in where healthcare is going.
  • Lead market education initiatives that establish Movement Intelligence as an emerging healthcare category and the 6th vital sign.
  • Be the creative force behind OneStep's content engine, writing, creating, editing, and shaping high-impact content across advertising, social media, website, thought leadership, blogs, newsletters, presentations, videos, and executive communications.
  • Transform OneStep's social media presence into a destination for thought leadership, market education, customer stories, and meaningful conversations around Movement Intelligence.
  • Raise the creative bar across everything we produce, from campaigns and events to presentations, social content, customer experiences, and executive communications.

Program Management

Great brands are built through consistent execution. You'll build and manage the systems, workflows, and operating rhythms that enable the marketing team to execute with quality, focus, and scale.

  • Oversee the Content Hub, marketing knowledge base, and asset governance.
  • Own Marketing's operating system, ensuring projects move efficiently from request through execution.
  • Manage marketing workflows, project prioritization, timelines, asset management, and content operations.
  • Build scalable marketing processes, editorial calendars, templates, documentation, and ways of working that improve quality, consistency, and execution speed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Brand Marketing, MARCOM, Content Marketing or Creative Strategy within B2B technology, digital health, or healthcare. Experience in B2C marketing communications is a plus.
  • An exceptional writer, editor, and storyteller who loves creating content—not just managing it. You enjoy turning ideas into campaigns, videos, social posts, articles, and stories that inspire people to read, share, and take action.
  • Strong brand and creative instincts, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, memorable narratives.
  • Experience leading creative production, including large-scale advertising campaigns, video production, and agency partnerships.
  • Experience building thought leadership, customer storytelling, and strategic content programs.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional marketing initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Strong program management and operational skills, with experience building scalable marketing processes and workflows.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment.
