THE JOB:
As an A/V Technician, you will be responsible for setup and operation of audio, video, and control systems. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $38.35 USD Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Perform rapid fault isolation, diagnostic testing, and emergency repairs on distributed audio systems, digital signage/video walls, IPTV networks, room control automation, and event AV systems.
Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support for guestroom and villa suite media packages, interactive controls, architectural lighting, and client AV requirements.
Maintain and verify network signal distribution (Dante, AV-over-IP) across venues and property backbones.
Diagnose and troubleshoot BSS Audio DSP platforms (Soundweb London series including BLU-160, BLU-806DA, and BLU link audio buses) using HiQnet Audio Architect/London Architect.
Diagnose and maintain architectural lighting control systems (ETC Unison, ETC Paradigm, sACN). ETC Paradigm LightDesigner experience preferred.
Set and strike audio, video, lighting, and internet equipment for meetings, events, and clients.
Assist clients in the use of AV equipment and operate AV systems for meetings and events as required.
Provide excellent customer service by determining customer needs and offering effective technical solutions.
Maintain AV and rental equipment, ensuring proper care during transportation, handling, setup, strike, and storage.
Operate scissor lifts to transport, install, maintain, and remove AV, lighting, and network equipment.
Calculate electrical draw for AV and lighting equipment and work safely with high amperage/voltage electrical systems.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
2+ Years of prior relevant experience in A/V, production, theatrical, or related fields
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
