Requires the ability to work sometimes under challenging conditions (high humidity/temperature).Assists with animal surgery and tissue collection days with minor tasks.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Current undergraduate or graduate student at Texas A&M University. Major in Biology, Animal Science, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, Agriculture, or a related field preferred. Previous animal experience is a plus but not required — training will be provided. Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal instruction, and manage time effectively. Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to perform both technical and routine tasks. Stand for extended periods during work. Other Requirements:Requires working evening, night and weekend hours.Ability to lift or move light, moderate, and heavy objects.All positions are security-sensitive.
