Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.

About the Role

We're building at the frontier of robotics and AI, and we need a hands-on operator to turn strategy into reality.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the CSO to develop and pressure-test company strategy (market positioning, business model, and the sequence of bets that get us to category leadership) and translate it into concrete plans the business can act on.

  • Own the market intelligence backbone: continuous, first-hand reads on robotics and AI, covering competitors, buyers, adjacent players, regulation, and the shifts that reshape the field.

  • Do the analysis yourself. Build the models, pull the data, write the memos, and frame the biggest calls (new markets, pricing, build-vs-partner, expansion, etc) so the leadership can decide with conviction.

  • Run key strategic initiatives end to end, owning them from thesis to shipped result, and pulling in the right people across the company to get there.

  • Drive the strategy cadence: the reviews, the materials, the follow-through, so decisions get made and don't stall.

  • Support the board and investor materials, and help sharpen how we tell the company's story to the market.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years in strategy, corporate development, venture, or strategy consulting, ideally with time inside a startup, scale-up, or high-growth tech company where you owned outcomes, not just recommendations.

  • A genuine feel for deep-tech markets. You can go deep on robotics and AI, read where the technology and market are heading, and communicate credibly with everyone from engineers to investors.

  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills: you're fluent in the numbers and build the analysis yourself rather than outsourcing it.

  • Excellent writing. You can turn a messy problem into a crisp memo that moves a decision forward.

  • A bias to action. You've personally driven initiatives to a result and are comfortable operating with limited support and imperfect information.

  • Comfort operating close to leadership.

Nice to have

  • Experience in robotics, hardware, or applied AI.

  • A technical or engineering background.

  • Time spent on both the investing and operating sides of the table.

What We Offer

  • Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.

  • 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).

  • Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.

  • Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.

  • Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.

  • Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.

  • Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.
