The Senior IT Architect – Visualization & AI is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise‑wide technology solutions that support complex incentive programs, including customer rebates, vendor incentives, contracts, and chargebacks. This role requires an architect with strong technical and design skills who can translate complex business requirements into innovative, scalable, and secure solutions across SaaS platforms, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies, real-time data streaming, and AI-driven automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in defining architectural strategies for incentive systems and ensure integration with enterprise platforms.
• Support development of architectural plans and documentation for applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and help translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to alignment of IT solutions with business goals.
• Participate in deployments using GitHub and assist with integration across SaaS products.
• Help build reporting capabilities using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Kafka and Snowflake
• Provide support for database operations and coordinate with technical teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements for new processes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in IT Architecture, Data Architecture, Analytics, AI, or a similar senior technical role.
• Strong experience with data and analytics platforms, including Databricks and Azure Data Lake.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, data analytics, dashboard development, and reporting solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Experience with cloud and data technologies including Azure, Snowflake, and Kafka.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with customer rebates, vendor incentives, contracts, or chargebacks.
• Domain knowledge of pricing, deal pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics.
• Exposure to SAP or Oracle environments, particularly as enterprise source systems.
• Experience developing predictive analytics, AI-driven insights, or advanced reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of SaaS-based enterprise platforms and modern solution architectures.
• Understanding of SOX controls, audit requirements, and technology governance practices.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to business and leadership stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly learn new business domains and apply technical expertise to complex commercial processes.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.  In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

€72,000 - €120,000
