As an Intermediate Frontend Engineer, you will be a hands-on contributor within a product pod, building client-facing product experiences on our main platform.

This team's recent projects have included rebuilding detailed pricing graphs, adding dynamic content pages with new API development, and optimizing our email notifications.

You will collaborate with technical leaders to deliver new features. You will work closely with your colleagues to refactor and improve the codebase; create a beautiful, functional, and delightful user experience; and build an excellent and supportive engineering culture.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Hands-on development of mobile-responsive user interfaces with React and TypeScript.

  • Own all aspects of frontend development, including styling, performance, responsiveness, and building reusable components.

  • Collaborate closely with a small team, including directly with the founders, to build both the product and the company.

  • Adapt quickly to a fast-moving environment and shifting priorities.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years building interfaces with React.

  • Previous experience working in Typescript.

  • Experience with component libraries (such as Chakra UI).

  • Working with authenticated backend APIs.

  • Translating design mockups (e.g. Figma) into implementation.

  • Working closely with product designers on feedback for UI/UX changes.

Preferable Experience:

  • Experience working with GraphQL APIs and Apollo Client is a nice-to-have.

  • Experience with backend languages like Elixir highly preferred.
