Job Description Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Python and AI/ML. The primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain multiple software tools for our products, ensuring high-quality code and system reliability. Additionally, familiarity with IEC-61850 standards and knowledge of HVDC systems are considered advantageous.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and debug Python/AI/ML based software applications
• Collaborate with embedded engineers and other team members to integrate software applications with hardware components.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, software development processes, and industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Perform software verification and validation activities to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Document software designs, requirements, and test procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in various LLMs and ML algorithms.
• Provide technical support to other teams as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in python and AI model-based development.
• Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in AI model development using various LLMs.
• Exposure to Data science principles and Machine Learning algorithms.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, JIRA, Sprint, Confluence)
• Excellent in problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with IEC-61850 standards for communication networks and systems in power utility automation.
• Knowledge of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) systems and related technologies.
• Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as Git or SVN.
• Experience with Agile software development practices.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronic & communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
