Job Overview and Responsibilities
This position will lead a team of auditors around the system with a sole focus on quality assurance audits for the Airport Operations Business Partners. This position will be able to be responsible for development, engagement, and training for the team.
Up to 85% travel.
- Prioritize daily activities of auditor team based and build and implement processes that support Business Partner Performance
- Responsible for setting objectives, developing goals and handling performance evaluation process for direct reports
- Establish evaluation methods to review and assess areas of strength and improvement for the auditing program
- Responsible for ensuring performance reviews are completed following a station audit
- Oversight and development of auditor training – initial & recurrent
- Develops employees through counseling, mentorship, and career planning forums
- Leads employees by motivation, mentorship, and accountability for individual performance
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years’ aviation or operational experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills; including written and verbal
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Motivated individual that has demonstrated problem solving and decision-making ability
- Leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor
- Time management
- Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for an eight-hour shift
- Able to perform a variety of physical activities including but not limited to, bending, stooping, climbing, pulling, pushing, and working in tight spaces
- Ability to successfully complete all required job functions, including using computers, mobile devices, and other technology as needed, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
- Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority and U.S. Customs
- Availability to work at any time of day or night, including early morning, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, is required
- Work in all temperatures and weather conditions (outdoors or indoors)
- Work where there will be exposure to high noise levels
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
- Work environment includes exposure to odors and fumes from jet fuel, cleaning chemicals, and other operational materials
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience

The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
