The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Learning & Development Facilitator to join our global Learning & Development team. In this role, you will deliver impactful learning experiences that enhance employee capability, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance across a global workforce. You will facilitate leadership development programs, workshops, and learning interventions using a variety of delivery methods, while ensuring a consistent and engaging learner experience. How You’ll Make an Impact
Deliver global learning programs and training interventions designed by the Global Design and Product team.
Facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and blended learning programs for diverse audiences across regions.
Ensure consistent delivery of learning content, methodologies, and key messages across all training sessions.
Lead workshops, moderate panel discussions, facilitate team-building activities, and support group coaching initiatives.
Adapt facilitation techniques and learning approaches to suit both in-person and virtual learning environments.
Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, learner assessments, performance indicators, and other measurement tools.
Share insights and recommendations with the Global Design and Product team to continuously improve learning solutions.
Provide guidance and support to learners throughout their development journey, addressing questions and promoting engagement.
Partner closely with Global Design and Product teams to ensure training content remains relevant, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs.
Collaborate with HR Operations to coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate learning records.
Analyze participant feedback and learning data, providing quarterly recommendations to enhance learner experience and classroom effectiveness.
Demonstrate Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related field.
Proven experience facilitating leadership development programs for mid-level and senior-level professionals.
Experience administering and facilitating leadership, personality, behavioral, or competency-based assessments.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills across multiple learning formats, including classroom, virtual, and e-learning environments.
Sound understanding of adult learning principles, instructional methodologies, and learner engagement techniques.
Ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with experience working across global and multicultural teams.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Certification in leadership development tools or assessments such as MBTI, DISC, Hogan, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
