Adams Vets has been a pillar of the local community since we opened in 1975. We engage closely with local charities and rescue centres, and have great relationships with our clients. We are lucky to have two first-opinion clinics across Liverpool, one in Fazakerley and one in Wavertree, which affords us a varied range of clients and cases

 

Practice Highlights

  Both clinics are fully equipped with 3 consult rooms, theatre, prep area, digital x-rays (and soon to be dental x-ray), ultrasound, Idexx lab equipment, and more.   Working alongside 3 vets (with shared interests in surgery and medicine, including one certificate holder), Clinical Director, 6 nurses, 2 VCA’s, and 6 support staff (with a combined experience of around 50 years!).

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. 

 

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

 

Key Responsibilities

  You will be a competent all round vet. The ideal rota pattern is 35 hours a week over 4 days with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. weekdays 9.00-18.30. Saturday 9.00-13.00 however we do have some flexibility in this

  * A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS * Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases * Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues * A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development * Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively * A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
