Job Description As a Security Officer - Full Time in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance practices appropriate for a retail location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential security-related issues.Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.Assist with closing procedures, lost and found matters, and/or crowd management during busy periods, special events, or after-hours activity in accordance with location protocols.
