We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner – HR Operations & Compliance to ensure the operational excellence, legal compliance and administrative integrity of our Human Resources function.As the operational backbone of HR, you will ensure that employee administration, employment documentation, payroll coordination, HR systems, labour compliance and social administration are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with Swissport standards and Algerian legislation. You will also lead the HR Operations team while partnering closely with the HR Business Partner – Talent & Employee Experience to deliver a seamless employee lifecycle.  Key Responsibilities  HR Operations
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of HR operational activities throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Supervise employment contracts, contractual amendments and all employment documentation.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding administrative processes.
  • Maintain organisational structures and position management.
  • Produce HR reports, workforce statistics and operational metrics.
HR Information Systems & Data
  • Ensure the integrity of HR master data across all HR systems.
  • Monitor data accuracy, quality and compliance.
  • Produce HR dashboards and KPIs.
  • Support the implementation of HR digital solutions and continuous process improvements.
Payroll Administration
  • Supervise payroll preparation activities.
  • Ensure accurate transfer of HR data impacting payroll.
  • Validate personnel movements affecting salaries.
  • Coordinate closely with Payroll, Finance and management.
  • Monitor payroll compliance and internal controls.
Employment Contracts & Labour Administration
  • Ensure compliance of all employment contracts and contractual documentation.
  • Manage probation periods, contract renewals and employment terminations.
  • Maintain legal documentation in accordance with Algerian Labour Law.
  • Coordinate labour inspections and official audits.
Compliance & HR Governance
  • Ensure compliance with local labour legislation and Swissport HR policies.
  • Monitor legal developments impacting employment practices.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure HR documentation complies with regulatory requirements and document retention standards.
Social Administration
  • Supervise relationships with CNAS and other social authorities.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory declarations.
  • Monitor occupational accident administration.
  • Ensure compliance with social security requirements.
  • Coordinate the activities of the Social Correspondent.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach and develop the HR Operations team.
  • Set priorities, monitor workloads and ensure service excellence.
  • Develop operational procedures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner – Talent & Employee Experience to ensure consistency across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation management, training administration, career movements and internal communications.
  • Prepare salary analyses, grading reviews, payroll simulations and compensation reports.
  • Contribute to the development of compensation policies and salary structures.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR Operations, Personnel Administration or an HR Business Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of Algerian Labour Law.
  • Excellent HR administration and employment contract management skills.
  • Strong HRIS and HR data management expertise.
  • Solid payroll coordination experience.
  • Audit and compliance mindset.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong process improvement mindset and attention to detail.
  • Service-oriented approach with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
