As a Coordinator Business Support, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Talbot Wind Farm by providing administrative, financial, operational, and stakeholder support. Working closely with the Plant Manager and site team, technicians, contractors, suppliers, and community partners, you will help ensure operational excellence, compliance, and a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:
Provide administrative and operational support to the Talbot Wind Farm Plant Manager and site team to ensure efficient and effective site operations.
Coordinate procurement and financial activities, including purchase orders, work orders, invoice processing, expense management, budget tracking, and accrual reporting.
Maintain accurate site documentation, records, reports, and electronic filing systems in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support contractor and vendor administration, including onboarding, contract coordination, site access management, safety orientations, and compliance tracking.
Serve as a key point of contact for landowners, community members, suppliers, and other stakeholders by responding to inquiries and supporting engagement activities.
Coordinate office operations, facility support, security access requests, records management, and office supply procurement.
Collaborate with operations, corporate partners, and regional support teams to support site communications, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational excellence.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC).
1-2 years of related administrative, business support, operations coordination, or office management experience.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge and working experience with Maximo and Oracle systems, including maintenance management, asset tracking, and data reporting.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project coordination capabilities.
Proven ability to work independently while supporting a diverse group of stakeholders.
Valid driver's license and passport are required.
Reliable transportation with the ability to travel during varying weather conditions, including winter driving.
Preferred:
Experience supporting operations, industrial, utilities, renewable energy, manufacturing, or field-based environments.
Familiarity with procurement, budget tracking, invoice processing, and contractor management processes.
Experience coordinating stakeholder, community, or customer-facing activities.
Knowledge of document control and records management practices.
Understanding of safety, environmental, and quality programs within an operational setting.
Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based role with approximately 90% of time spent in a field office environment.
Approximately 10% of time spent supporting field-related activities and emergency response efforts as required.
This is an onsite position based at the Talbot Wind Farm; remote work is not available.
A valid "G" class Ontario driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.
Frequent interaction with employees, contractors, suppliers, visitors, landowners, and community stakeholders.
Regular use of computers and business systems to support reporting, procurement, budgeting, document management, and communications.
Requires a consistent onsite presence to support business operations, contractor coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Salary:
Ranges from $46,000 – $60,000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
