Failure Analysis & Corrective Actions

  • Lead root‑cause investigations for test failures and systemic issues; develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to restore test integrity and reduce repeat failures

Data‑Driven Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze test data and trends (yield, failure modes, cycle time) to identify opportunities for improvement; propose and implement changes to test methods, equipment configurations, and data capture

Risk Management & Governance

  • Identify, assess, and track risks associated with test equipment and usage; maintain a risk register, define mitigations, and communicate key risks and residual risk to program and site leadership

Maintenance & Reliability of Test Infrastructure

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for environmental and test equipment (thermal chambers, vibration tables, ovens, cooling systems, etc.); ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Modernization & Obsolescence Strategy

  • Develop and execute the long‑term roadmap for test set modernization and obsolescence management, including upgrade plans, replacement strategies, and alignment with program needs

Relocation & Site Integration

  • Plan and coordinate relocation of test sets (e.g., to Troy Hill), including feasibility assessment, logistics, requalification, and documentation updates; ensure smooth integration into new facilities and operations

Operational Resilience & Backup Planning

  • Establish maintenance schedules, spare part strategies, and backup test paths to minimize downtime and support multi‑shift and weekend operations when required.

Cross‑Program & Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Provide cross‑program SME support to harmonize test practices and leverage common solutions; partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, facilities, procurement, and external vendors on complex test and sustainment issues

Customer, Audit, and External Interface

  • Support internal and external audits related to test equipment and processes, ensuring timely closure of findings; act as technical interface to customers and external partners to explain test strategies, constraints, and risk mitigations

Documentation, Reporting & Training
