Spanish Marketing Lead

Who we are
Hallow is on a mission to help people pray. We’re the No. 1 prayer app in the world, with more than 1 billion prayers prayed across 150+ countries. We're building a product that is authentically Christian and Catholic, while at the same time a resource for anyone looking to grow deeper in a relationship with God. We believe that people are hungry for peace, and that there is no surer way to find it than by learning to sit in silence with Christ: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28).
Our goal is to build something truly great. Something that combines the beauty of the Church's spirituality with world-class product and content execution. And we need a world-class team to make it happen.
We launched the app in December 2018 and have been blown away with the incredible growth & traction. Hallow has been downloaded more than 30 million times with over 250,000 5-star reviews. We're blessed to be backed by some of the best mission-driven investors in the world and are excited to build out the team to help a lot more folks grow closer to God.
We are a startup. We move quickly. We are small but we take big swings. Each person is responsible for making an impact. It is hard—but deeply meaningful—work. We'd be honored & humbled if you'd consider joining us.
TL;DR: Hallow is looking for a Spanish Marketing Lead to own release planning and cross-functional execution for every Spanish-language content release, turning new releases into culturally sharp, cross-channel campaigns for Spanish-speaking audiences.

What You'll Do

  • Marketing Launches: You'll own planning for every Spanish content release — reviewing each launch, developing a full brief with messaging direction, key audiences, channel priorities, and timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: You'll be the single marketing point of contact across Organic Social, Paid Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Design, and Storytelling Hacking, ensuring every team is aware of upcoming launches, is briefed, and stays on schedule. You’ll review video ad scripts and creative for Paid..
  • Content Positioning & Trend Spotting: You'll track Catholic news, the liturgical calendar, and social trends across Latin America and the Spanish-speaking world, turning what you find into concrete recommendations you execute on. You'll find fresh angles that make releases land with Spanish-speaking audiences, from liturgical-calendar tie-ins and seasonal hooks to relaunching existing content into new campaigns.
  • Localizing Marketing: You’ll localize any necessary marketing assets (e.g., push and email campaigns, landing pages, video ad scripts, etc.) to ensure assets are finalized and scheduled in time for launches.
  • Experimentation: You'll design tests on messaging, creative, timing, and segmentation, then partner with Performance Marketing to apply learnings to future releases.
  • Partner Relationships: As needed you’ll help source and serve as the first point of contact with new marketing partners, managing these relationships and negotiations end-to-end. For our largest partnerships, you’ll attend recordings in person and help direct video ad production to ensure the highest output quality.

What You'll Love

  • Mission: This work is incredibly humbling. Every day we hear amazing stories and we get the pleasure of working on something that's impacting lives. One of our favorite user quotes: "I hate quoting an old, overused cliche, but I've been very lost. And I think for the first time in a while I may be found."
  • Ownership: You'll be the single point of accountability for how new content reaches Latin America — from the first brief to the final push notification.
  • Growth: From day 1, you'll be a part of the startup journey — helping build the international marketing playbook as Hallow's LATAM presence scales.
  • Flexibility: We’re looking for a candidate who is based anywhere in Latin America. This role may require some late night or early morning work to maximize overlap with the U.S. Central Time Zone, plus some travel for partnerships and recordings.
  • Comp: We will pay competitive market rates in terms of equity, cash, & benefits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion: First & foremost, we're looking for someone excited about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun :)
  • Cross-Functional Operator: You're comfortable coordinating across cross-functional teams and across global time zones, without letting details slip.
  • Culturally Fluent: You have a strong pulse on Latin American culture and trends — familiarity with the Catholic liturgical calendar and devotional practices across the region is a big plus.
  • Analytical & Curious: You know how to read and communicate about Marketing Performance metrics. You have a sharp analytical mindset and genuine curiosity about audience behavior and experimentation.
  • Experience: You have 4-6+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Brand Marketing. You have native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English; Portuguese is a plus. You've worked on mobile app marketing or lifecycle marketing before.

We're a small team and we care deeply about each new hire, so sometimes it can take us a while to get through the hiring process for these roles. Apologies in advance for any delays. We'll do our best to keep you updated throughout the process, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through everything.
We are honored that you'd consider joining the team and look forward to connecting with you.
Best,
Alex at HallowCEO & Co-Founder
