Job Description
As a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and support security-related procedures. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry credentials, manage visitor and driver check-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
