Your Role: Talent Acquisition Partner
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will manage full life cycle recruiting for highly specialized Research and Development roles across scientific, technical, engineering, clinical, regulatory, and product development functions. You will be a member of our US recruiting team and serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders across the business, helping them define talent needs, evaluate candidate markets, and make informed hiring decisions. You will develop targeted recruiting strategies for complex and hard-to-fill positions, promote consistent recruitment processes, and effectively leverage technology, data, and AI advancements to improve sourcing, candidate assessment, and recruiting efficiency.
This is a fixed duration appointment for two years, with opportunity to extend as business needs require.
Your Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting from intake and role calibration through sourcing, screening, interview management, offer negotiation, and hiring, while partnering closely with hiring managers and ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract highly specialized scientific, technical, engineering, clinical, regulatory, and product development talent; collaborate with Talent Acquisition Strategic Sourcers and external partners when additional market support is needed.
- Promote Elanco’s employer brand by clearly communicating the company’s purpose, R&D strategy, scientific opportunities, and the impact each role has on animal health innovation.
- Provide hiring leaders with candidate market intelligence, talent availability, compensation insights, competitive hiring trends, and realistic search expectations for complex and hard-to-fill roles.
- Optimize and standardize recruitment processes; educate and influence hiring leaders; and guide continuous improvement using key metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, candidate engagement, interview progress, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Build and manage critical relationships with candidates, hiring managers, HR partners, recruiters, strategic sourcers, and external vendors while maintaining clear communication around role status, risks, blockers, and next actions.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education: High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, including experience supporting specialized, technical, or scientific roles.
- Top Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business functions (HR, Sourcing, Business Leaders) and proficiency with a wide range of recruiting technologies (e.g., ATS, CRM, AI tools).

- Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent service to hiring teams and candidates. This includes understanding business and technical talent needs, setting clear expectations, maintaining consistent communication, meeting quality standards, and evaluating hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
- Talent Market Analysis and Sourcing Strategy: The ability to assess specialized talent markets, identify target companies and candidate populations, develop creative sourcing strategies, and adjust the recruiting approach based on pipeline data and market feedback.
- Deductive Reasoning, problem solving and problem sensitivity: The ability to evaluate candidate qualifications against complex role requirements, identify potential gaps or risks, apply recruiting data to hiring opportunities, and recommend practical solutions that support timely and informed decisions.
