This position has a hybrid work location with in-office training and client team meetings a few days a month and remote location available other days. 

Position Responsibilities:

Client Service & Relationship Management 

• Manage multiple client relationships and serve as the primary escalation point for service-related matters. 

• Ensure the timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of all client deliverables. 

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex client issues and deliver comprehensive solutions. 

Technical Oversight 

• Review financial statements and supporting schedules prepared under U.S. GAAP

 • Review SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468 and related filings.

• Review capital call and distribution calculations and investor communications. 

• Review partnership allocations, waterfall calculations, and partner capital account statements. 

• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting, reporting, and client matters. 

Leadership & Team Development 

• Lead, mentor, and develop managers, senior associates, and associates. 

• Conduct performance reviews and support career development planning. 

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client service excellence. 

• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives. 

Operational Excellence 

• Manage team capacity and resource planning to ensure appropriate staffing. 

• Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives. 

• Identify service delivery risks and implement appropriate controls. 

• Support strategic projects, system enhancements, and organizational initiatives. 

 

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required (CPA preferred). 

• 8+ years of experience in private equity, partnership, or fund accounting. 

• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading service delivery teams. 

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private fund structures. 

• Experience with SBA-regulated funds preferred. 

• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams. 

• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills 

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling techniques, and data analysis tools.
