Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Data Platforms, you will plan, design, manage, and implement core components of Watson Service Offerings and Digital Insights Platforms, as well as other similar non-IBM solutions. This role involves creating solutions that deliver significant and lasting business improvements for clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design Solution Architecture: Provide expert architecture, design, and implementation support for solutions in virtualized and cloud-based environments, including both hosted and on-premise solutions.

• Implement Data Platforms: Plan, manage, and implement core components of Watson Service Offerings and Digital Insights Platforms to deliver business improvements for clients.

• Support Sales and Delivery: Define solutions and present a point of view for these offerings' services to clients, collaborating with Sales and Delivery teams.

• Deliver Client Solutions: Create solutions that meet client needs, leveraging expertise in architecture, data lake, design, implementation, Watson Solutions, virtualization, and cloud.

• Manage Solution Delivery: Ensure successful implementation of solutions, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to Data Platform Design: Experience working with data platforms, including data lakes, to design and implement solutions that deliver business improvements for clients.

• Virtualization and Cloud Expertise: Exposure to virtualized and cloud-based environments, including both hosted and on-premise solutions, to provide expert architecture, design, and implementation support.

• Architecture and Implementation: Experience working with solution architecture, design, and implementation, leveraging expertise in Watson Solutions, virtualization, and cloud.

• Solution Delivery Experience: Exposure to managing solution delivery, ensuring successful implementation of solutions, and working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Technical Solution Development: Experience working with technical solutions, creating solutions that meet client needs, and leveraging expertise in architecture, data lake, design, implementation, Watson Solutions, virtualization, and cloud.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Data Lake Design Knowledge: Exposure to designing and implementing data lakes to deliver business improvements for clients, including data platform design and solution architecture.

• Cloud-Based Solution Expertise: Experience working with virtualized and cloud-based environments, including both hosted and on-premise solutions, to provide expert architecture, design, and implementation support.

• Technical Solution Development: Exposure to creating solutions that meet client needs, leveraging expertise in architecture, data lake, design, implementation, Watson Solutions, virtualization, and cloud.
