About Sapiom

Sapiom is the end-to-end platform that removes barriers to ship and scale agentic products.

We unify everything an agent needs to act in the world: compute and sandboxes, memory, identity, domains and DNS, spend controls, browser automation, web search and deep research, databases, storage, queues, messaging, image generation, voice, enrichment, verification, and monitoring provisioned together as one thing, not handed over as a framework for builders to assemble themselves. Pricing is just as simple: a plan, a generous free tier, pay for what you use when you use it.

We have assembled a world-class team with deep infrastructure and payments DNA to build the operating system for machines. Backed by a $15.75M investment from Accel, Menlo, and Anthropic, we are moving with relentless focus to allow builders to ship and scale agentic products.

About the Role

If you've spent your career building financial rigor at high-growth companies and want a seat at the table where strategy, capital, and the future of autonomous commerce intersect — this is it. As a member of the Strategic Finance team, you'll report directly to our CEO and own the full arc of strategic finance at Sapiom: long-range planning, investor storytelling, corporate development, and the cross-functional decision support that helps a fast-moving company make smarter bets. You'll be a trusted advisor, a force multiplier across the business, and a direct contributor to the financial strategy that shapes what Sapiom becomes.

What You Will Do

You'll build and own the models that translate Sapiom's ambitions into rigorous, dynamic plans — long-range forecasts, annual budgets, and the scenario and unit-economics work that guides pricing, growth strategy, and resource allocation. Beyond planning, you'll lead corporate development — evaluating and structuring strategic partnerships, and supporting the capital markets work that tells Sapiom's financial story to investors and the board. You'll partner directly with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations, act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and leadership team, and use AI tools to raise the bar for how the finance function itself operates — all in service of building the financial foundation for the machine economy.

Responsibilities

  • Own Sapiom's long-range financial plan, annual budget, and rolling forecasts — translating company ambitions into rigorous, dynamic models across revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability

  • Drive strategy projects including business model evaluation, deal modeling, and scenario planning that directly inform leadership decisions

  • Analyze unit economics and key performance metrics to guide growth strategy, pricing, and resource allocation

  • Evaluate and structure strategic partnerships and other value-creation initiatives

  • Support capital markets activity — including investor relations materials, board reporting, and fundraising processes

  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations, representing finance in cross-functional forums

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience across investment banking, consulting, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth technology company

  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, and corporate development — comfortable moving between 30,000-foot strategy and granular analysis

  • Proven, habitual use of AI tools in day-to-day finance workflows — modeling, research, analysis, reporting — with the curiosity to keep pushing what's possible

  • Strong understanding of SaaS and/or platform business models and their key value drivers

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills — able to translate complex financial concepts for any audience, from the board to a cross-functional team

  • A bias toward action and a track record of driving outcomes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

  • Familiarity with financial and data platforms such as Stripe, Ramp, and ERPs, or experience at an AI-native company, is a plus
