Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, maintainable data solutions.
Apply strong data engineering fundamentals to support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery.
Use Git for version control, branching, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
Drive automation across engineering processes to reduce manual effort and improve speed, quality, and repeatability.
Support production stability by building with a zero-defect, first-time-right mindset and proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery.
Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and team collaboration to strengthen engineering excellence across the function.
Where applicable, leverage Snowflake advanced capabilities such as Streams/Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, External Tables, and Zero-Copy Cloning.
Partner across teams working in broader cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including storage and access control patterns.
Qualifications
3–7 years of experience in SQL and Snowflake development.
1–2 years of hands-on experience building transformations in Coalesce.
2+ years of experience in Python, including Streamlit development.
Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, including SQL development, data warehousing concepts, and workload management.
Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning considerations.
Experience using Git for source control and collaborative engineering practices.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate business needs into technical data solutions.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and core data engineering fundamentals.
Demonstrated automation mindset with a passion for improving efficiency and eliminating manual work.
Strong collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills.
Proven commitment to quality, with experience delivering stable, production-ready solutions.
Good-to-have exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including object storage and IAM patterns.
Nice to have familiarity with event streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Event Hubs, and CDC tools.
