The role focuses on validating data pipelines, ensuring data integrity during migrations from legacy platforms such as Teradata to cloud-based architectures, and safeguarding sensitive information through robust testing of encryption and anonymisation solutions.What you’ll do Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), system regression, and performance testing (where applicable) for data migration solutionsValidate ETL pipelines and perform data reconciliation between Teradata and GCP platformsTest and validate GCP services, including Dataflow, Cloud Run, Dataform, Eventarc, and Pub/SubEnsure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy following migration activitiesTest PII data anonymisation, masking, and protection mechanismsValidate encryption and decryption processes using GPG and Format Preserving Encryption (FPE)Execute performance and volume testing for large-scale datasetsApply strong data validation techniques using SQL and data warehousing conceptsWho you are An experienced professional with 5–8 years in data/ETL testing or data migration quality engineeringSkilled in validating ETL processes and data pipelines in cloud environments, particularly GCPKnowledgeable in handling PII data, including anonymisation and encryption practicesFamiliar with cloud-based data architectures and large-scale data migration testingProficient in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and data validation methodologiesComfortable validating complex distributed systems and ensuring data quality across platformsNot a perfect fit?
