Responsibilities:

In this role, you were expected focusing on:

Project Execution:

• Remote Sensing project development, coordination, execution, and product delivery for key customers.
• Close coordination with internal & external customers, incorporating feedback and requisite deliverables.

Remote Sensing Data Analysis:

• Explore and keep abreast of developments related to UAV, Satellites, and LiDAR technologies.
• Model-script compilation, integration with internal management systems, and deployment in the production server as required.
• Provide recommendations for system requirements such as hardware, software for project development & deployment.
• Big data processing automation, maintaining spatial databases, developing interactive user interface tools/apps.
• Real-time database management for both historical & real-time data on-premises and in the cloud.
• Find end-to-end solutions from developing analytics to deployment & distribution to potential customers.
• Data collection, proof of concept (POC), and running until the pilot scale with a concrete roadmap for operational transition.

Coordinating & Reporting:

• Prepare technical reports or presentations on the results of developmental projects.
• Develop standard operational procedures for the operational implementation of remote sensing workflows.
• Provide suggestions to the Geospatial Data Scientist for new ideas and implementations.
• Routine reports and operational recommendations to the Geospatial Data Scientist regarding project progress and challenges faced.
• Develop standard operational procedures for the operational implementation of remote sensing workflows.

Qualifications:

• Preferably, Masters in Geoinformation Science, Forest Engineering, or closely related discipline with 1 year of work experience OR Bachelor with minimum 3 Years of experience.
• Modules with forestry applications or geospatial applications are an advantage.

Experience:

• Excellent command of deep/machine learning model development using geo-spatial data through open-source tools for spatial data analysis, visualization, and interpretations.
• Hands-on experience with programming tools such as R, Python, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, VB, etc.
• Experience in big data management with demonstrated skills in processing, automation, compilation/integration, and deployment.
• Developing dashboards with interactive widgets/tools, experienced in WebGIS & Hadoop infrastructure.
• Analyzing data from multiple platforms such as UAV, Aircraft & Satellites using statistical models with artificial intelligence, deep/machine learning models.
• Knowledge of forestry applications such as Tissue Culture & Silviculture practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Building cross-functional relationships to collaborate with business stakeholders and internal stakeholders/customers.
• Resourceful and proactive, ability to propose alternate solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

Specific Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of remote sensing techniques and data structure.
• Expert in Computer vision and programming (R, Python, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, VB).
• Artificial Intelligence Deep/Machine Learning Model building, pruning & testing.
• Good understanding of IT Infra/Enterprise Architecture, Configuration, deployment strategy.
• Compilation & integration of model scripts, open-source geospatial applications, and database management systems (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Cloudera/Hortonwork data platform).
• Adequate skillsets in automated geospatial data processing, Artificial Intelligence Deep/Machine Learning Model building, pruning & testing.
