## About this Role
We are seeking a Privacy Specialist to support Vodafone Group’s global Privacy Programme, helping to safeguard the personal data of over 500 million customers and employees. The role sits within the Privacy, Responsible AI & Data Regulations team and focuses on enabling secure, compliant data processing through privacy-by-design practices, robust risk assessments, and effective governance across global initiatives.
## What you’ll do
* Support Privacy and Responsible AI by Design and Assurance activities across global data processing initiatives
* Manage privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and AI risk assessments, and support demand management via OneTrust
* Conduct privacy demand triage, categorisation, and ensure timely resolution of requests
* Respond to Subject Access Requests (SARs) and similar queries for Vodafone Group staff
* Assist in incident management, including initial investigation of privacy-related incidents
* Support supplier compliance processes and governance requirements
* Perform re-assessments of high and medium-risk personal data processing activities
* Maintain records management and contribute to quality assurance processes
* Support regular policy compliance reviews and internal audits
* Contribute to developing and embedding privacy notices, templates, guidance, and best practices
* Provide support to the wider Group Privacy team on additional activities as required
## Who you are
* Understanding of the global privacy landscape within technology and online environments
* Good knowledge of GDPR, EU AI Act, and related data protection regulations
* Familiarity with compliance management standards, tools, methodologies, and best practices
* Strong organisational capability, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach
* Experience with OneTrust and Jira is advantageous
* 1–2+ years of experience in operational data privacy roles
* CIPP/E accreditation or equivalent certification required
* Additional certifications such as CIPM, CIPT, or AIGP are beneficial
