Company Description

ContinuumCloud is growing and is seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented and experienced Lead Quality Assurance Analyst for our Human Capital Management product. Reporting to the Senior Applications Development Director, this role is part of a dynamic software development environment with an emphasis on superior customer service.


Must be US citizen, or have a valid work authorization. No visa sponsorship is available. Candidates must be located in mainland US and work in Eastern time-zone.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Hire, mentor, and develop QA engineers who are adept at working alongside automation tools and focused on high-impact, judgment-driven work rather than manual testing. 
  • Partner in the selection, implementation, and advocacy of AI-powered testing tools while continuously assessing the landscape for emerging capabilities. 
  • Provide leadership in tracking and leveraging key metrics while conducting test reviews and offering constructive feedback to improve both individual and team performance, driving continuous gains in velocity, throughput, and delivery quality. 
  • Guide best practices in test design, execution, and automation. 
  • Perform regression testing while leading initiatives to improve and streamline testing practices—enhancing efficiency, coverage, and execution speed. Identify high-value opportunities for automation to minimize repetitive manual testing and increase overall productivity. 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of smoke, regression, integration, load, and performance testing concepts to support application quality and system reliability. 
  • Understanding the importance of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) in improving code quality, collaboration, and maintainability. 
  • Update documentation based on system capabilities to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current functionality. 
  • Foster a culture where quality is a shared responsibility 
  • Design and implement testing plans for product changes and enhancements, while monitoring and tracking their progress to ensure successful delivery. 
  • Work with both SQL and Mongo databases and queries to ensure bug are resolved 
  • Ensure the final product satisfies the requirements and meets end-user expectations 
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to development team 
  • Evaluate software for release readiness 
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Customer Support to understand and investigate complex issues  
  • Partner with product team on product designs and specifications 
  • Assist the product team with product reviews to identify areas to enhance the product’s efficiency and improve the end-user experience 
  • Work closely with other product engineers, automation engineers, and product teammates. We work within sprints and release at the end of alternating sprints. 
  • Work with the QA and Development teams to prepare and release all code into the Production environment. 



What you bring to the role:

You are curious, detail oriented and pragmatic with a focus on quality. You have these skills and a desire to build on some of these areas:

  • QA Automation experience required 
  • QA AI experience required 
  • 4+ years of professional software quality assurance experience, with at least 2+ years in a QA leadership role   
  • An understanding of HCM, and the fundamentals of HR, Payroll and Benefits 
  • Excellent understanding of our industry and the customers we serve 
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Creative, innovative, and abstract thinker with ability to see how small details impact the big picture 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies and software development life cycle 
  • Experience with Jira, TestRail, Gitlab, SSMS, and Automation Tools 
  • Knowledge of SQL for data setup steps.
