As a Third-Party Onboarding Team Leader within Investment Middle Office, you manage a team delivering core third-party onboarding services for clients globally. You set priorities, capacity plans, service level agreements, and quality standards while serving as the day-to-day onboarding point of reference for select client relationships. You translate current operating models into a target operating model with clear scope, timelines, and acceptance criteria, partnering across functions to execute onboarding plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a small team delivering third-party onboarding services across a portfolio of clients and providers
  • Set team priorities, capacity plans, and objectives to meet agreed service level agreements and quality standards
  • Allocate work, run structured daily and weekly forums, and remove delivery blockers to maintain momentum
  • Coach team members on stakeholder management, problem solving, and consistent quality and documentation practices
  • Own day-to-day onboarding delivery for select client relationships, clarifying scope, sequencing, timelines, and acceptance criteria
  • Establish and manage working relationships with third-party providers to drive adoption of the target operating model
  • Partner with Product, Operations, Reference Data, Testing, and Technology to define scope and execute onboarding plans
  • Design, coordinate, and certify connectivity via SWIFT and secure file transfer protocol, resolving bespoke formats where needed
  • Plan and run user acceptance testing, including defect triage, with clear entry and exit criteria and transparent quality gates
  • Maintain dashboards and executive-ready reporting that show progress, quality, and service level agreement adherence
  • Identify risks and issues early, drive resolution across stakeholders, and enhance processes and controls through continuous improvement

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Experience managing and coaching a small delivery team (3–5 people) with clear quality standards and service level agreements
  • Experience setting priorities, planning capacity, and allocating work across multiple concurrent onboarding efforts
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, cash management, and corporate actions across multiple product types
  • Experience working in custody, including operational processes, service models, and controls
  • Experience with SWIFT messaging and connectivity troubleshooting with third-party providers
  • Experience managing secure file transfer protocol connectivity design and certification activities
  • Experience planning and executing user acceptance testing, including defect triage and quality gates
  • Ability to translate current-state operating models into a target-state onboarding approach with clear scope and acceptance criteria
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for daily delivery forums and executive-ready updates
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for dashboards, metrics, and stakeholder reporting

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Experience resolving non-standard data formats used in custody and fund operations onboarding
  • Experience building and maintaining onboarding dashboards and metrics used for governance reporting
  • Experience using Alteryx for operational reporting and analysis
  • Experience using Tableau for dashboarding and visualization
  • Experience using a workflow or portfolio tool to manage plans, dependencies, and evidence consistently
