This varied role is ideal for someone who is computer literate, confident working with figures, and able to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.  

How You’ll Make a Difference

  As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction.   You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.  

Working Pattern

* Full-time - 40 hours per week * 5 days per week and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (4.5 hours) at Keynsham surgery  * Travel required between all Bath Vets branches across Bath, Melksham, and Keynsham  

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome clients and visitors, creating a positive first impression of the practice * Manage appointments, answer telephone enquiries, and respond to client queries * Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient records * Support the smooth day-to-day running of reception and administrative activities * Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and support teams to deliver excellent client care
