As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous collaboration with various teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions that align with organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization, SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling concepts within enterprise resource planning environments.
- Ability to configure and customize SAP modules to meet specific business needs.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to production planning applications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP modules and other enterprise systems.

- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
