Our state‑of‑the‑art R&D environment combines the resources of a global organization with the supportive feel of a close‑knit team. You’ll participate in developing, implementing, testing, and supporting imaging and video‑processing technologies—including Dolby Vision—alongside experienced engineers who will help guide your professional growth. Responsibilities * Contribute to the design and development of the Dolby Vision device SDK, ensuring high-performance integration across diverse home entertainment platforms such as TVs, STBs, and AVRs. * Utilize Python to build developer tools and automate complex engineering tasks, and support ML experimentation workflows, improving the overall efficiency of the development lifecycle. * Leverage AI-assisted coding techniques (e.g., LLM-based tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate code development, streamline log analysis, and enhance automated testing processes. * Collaborate closely with senior software engineers to integrate new imaging features into existing projects and contribute to technical architectural discussions. Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with interest in imaging, video, or signal processing. * A portfolio of academic, personal, open‑source, or professional projects that demonstrates your development experience. * Ability to learn new concepts effectively and apply them to real‑world software challenges. * Experience with C and C++ fundamentals, including system‑level programming, memory management, and data structures. * Experience using Python for automation, tool development, or data processing is helpful. * Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware‑software interaction is a plus. * Familiarity with AI coding assistants or LLM‑based engineering workflows is a plus. * We understand that applying to internships can feel overwhelming—especially for candidates new to the field or without prior industry experience. Eligibility: * Currently enrolled in a degree program MS or PhD degrees in CS, EE, or a related field.
