The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable intelligence through predictive and descriptive statistical techniques across diverse data environments. Based in Pune, the individual will work collaboratively with business and commercial teams to drive informed decision-making and innovation.What you’ll do Build, test, and deliver analytical models leveraging new and existing datasets to support defined use casesPerform data preparation, cleansing, and optimisation using SQL and NoSQL technologiesDevelop descriptive and predictive models tailored to specific customer segments, products, and servicesSupport business stakeholders by contributing to decision-making processes through data-driven insightsCollaborate with commercial teams to present recommendations based on analytical outcomesContribute to product management activities by identifying and defining customer-facing analytics use casesSupport the definition and improvement of analytics lifecycle processes for efficient and cost-effective deliveryParticipate in business analysis activities and document specifications for information requestsWho you are Experienced in advanced analytics techniques such as descriptive, predictive, and optimisation modellingComfortable working with complex, high-volume, and high-dimensional datasets (preferably using Hadoop or Spark)Proficient in SQL and database technologies such as Teradata, Oracle, or MySQLSkilled in applying machine learning techniques to practical business problemsExperienced in statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, or SPSSEducated in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, with relevant experienceConfident working in international, distributed, and agile team environmentsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and system analysis capabilitiesEffective communicator, able to translate complex findings into clear and simple languageCollaborative, adaptable, and proactive with a focus on continuous improvement and innovationNot a perfect fit?
