Job Description
As an Emergency Deployment Officer at Allied Universal®, the Emergency Deployment Officer is responsible for maintaining a high visibility uniformed presence, responding to a variety of emergency situations. As an Emergency Deployment Officer, you will oversee the verification of security-relatedalarms, video management, and access control systems, in addition to providing situation updates to client management. This position could be deployed to a work project up to 200+ miles from the nearest Allied Universal office. Each deployment will be temporary, for a time period that will vary by assignment. Whiledeployed, the officer will typically conduct foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior), control access and egress, compose reports, deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties as specified in post orders. Deployment can vary from overnight up to several months at a time.Hourly Rate: $23.00
Additional: Mileage Reimbursement, per diem and hotel accommodations
Must have flexible schedule and able to accept any shift.
Must have a valid CA Guard Card/License
- Identify and respond to emergencies including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters, and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force up to and including armed response by following established protocol.
- Conduct surveillance operations
- Assist in emergencies by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures
- Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuries
- Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive information
- Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons
- Respond to direction and/or orders from supervisory personnel, especially in the context of an active shooter, assault, or other similar situation.
- Move from location to location at appropriate speeds
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal Education, Licenses, Investigation, and Certifications Required:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of five
- One year or more of security experience
- Must possess the applicable license for the state to which you are deployed or have a license eligible for reciprocity for the state for which you are deployed. Allied Universal will provide the means to be licensed in multiple states as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
