Finance Program Manager, Spend

Summary:

Our Finance organization is undergoing a significant transformation to define and execute its long-term strategic aspirations. The Modern Finance team is a key enabler of this vision, acting as a catalyst for innovation, productivity, and enhanced employee experiences. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to execute strategic Finance projects and programs on our integrated transformation roadmap.As a Modern Finance Program Manager, you will be part of a designated Modern Finance cluster, led by a cluster lead. You will primarily execute projects aligned to the spend cluster. You will primarily focus on the end-to-end execution of assigned project(s), which may be standalone or part of a wider program of initiatives. You will be responsible for the high-quality delivery of all project goals, collaborating with large stakeholder groups, leading change management activities required for the successful achievement of project objectives, and leveraging technology to execute effectively and efficiently.

1. Independently structure, lead and execute complex finance projects & programs collaborating effectively with other cross-functional teams globally

1. Own, define and maintain appropriate project documentation, to ensure transparency, clarity of objectives and consistent alignment of project deliverables, following defined Modern Finance execution norms and standards

1. Lead and collaborate with function teams and/or process and policy leads in performing discovery on projects

1. Proactively manage risk, anticipate potential issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to meet timelines, budget & objectives. Work proactively with the business to resolve critical issues

1. Ensure underlying processes are fit for purpose, identifying changes needed to support project objectives and leading process mapping, documentation and update requirements

1. Identify change impact, incorporate readiness and adoption requirements, comms and BAU plans within Project Plans, overseeing change deliverables and where larger change impact, collaborating closely with designated Change SMEs on best practices, execution of deliverables

1. Determine business roles and resources needed to ensure successful implementation, identifying & resolving resource constraints, overseeing resources assigned to projects

1. Develop effective peer and stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels, status updates and communication plans

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of experience in project management

1. Ability to independently and proactively lead the execution of complex and ambiguous projects, leveraging project management best practices, ways of working, and standards

1. Ability to align project structure, approach, resources, governance, and outputs to project needs

1. Ability to identify the change's impact on stakeholders, users, and teams and build a change readiness and adoption approach that is tailored to the project

1. Understanding of process mapping, Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC methodology, and core financial processes

1. Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and build positive working relationships

1. Demonstrated understanding of business functions and ability to support the execution of assigned finance functions

1. Ability to leverage emerging technologies to enhance execution, testing, requirements, and reporting and to execute efficiently

1. Meticulous in documenting information and tracking progress

1. A willingness to learn about finance functions and new technologies

1. Ability to identify and contribute to solutions for operational challenges

1. Enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative team environment

1. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

1. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

1. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

1. PMI/Agile or similar qualifications preferred

1. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Public Compensation:

$145,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
