Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $133,800.00 - $223,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Security to oversee a diverse range of security responsibilities within our organization. This role will include managing security operations for Enterprise Security, leading corporate event security, conducting investigations, and providing security consulting for New Growth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations management, corporate event coordination, investigations, and strategic consulting, with the ability to implement tailored security strategies to support events, and day-to-day operations and business expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

New Growth Operations:  

  • Oversee and support security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

  • Strategize, lead, and streamline all security operations to proactively mitigate risks and ensure swift, effective responses to security incidents

  • Supervise and refine emergency preparedness protocols, ensuring rigorous planning, training, and execution of exercises to enhance organizational resilience

  • Conduct assessments and audits of physical security infrastructure, technology, and personnel to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, IT, and facilities management, to ensure cohesive security measures across departments.

  • Provide strategic security consulting and guidance, including office openings, or new market expansions.

  • Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in new environments, recommended tailored security solutions to safeguard physical assets, intellectual property, and personnel.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into the planning and execution of new projects, ensuring smooth integration into the company’s existing security framework.

Corporate Event Security:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of security measures for corporate events, conferences, and other high-profile gatherings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect data to assist in key metrics consolidation for comprehensive functional reporting

  • Work closely with event organizers, vendors, and external security teams to ensure smooth operations and risk mitigation at corporate events.

  • Provide on-site leadership and oversight during corporate events, ensuring all security measures are followed and adjusted as needed in real-time.

Investigations:

  • Oversee internal investigations related to security incidents, including theft, fraud, workplace violence, and policy violations.

  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure proper handling of investigations and adherence to corporate policies and legal requirements.

  • Provide expert advice and recommendations for corrective actions, risk management strategies, and process improvements based on investigation outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Admin or related) and 8 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience in a related field; or 12 years’ experience in a related field with no degree.

  • 3+ years’ experience in management or leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of security systems, investigations, risk management, emergency response planning, and security technology.

  • Expertise in corporate event security planning and management, with an understanding of logistics, crowd control, and VIP protection.

  • Proven leadership ability, with experience managing teams, coordinating with external stakeholders, and influencing decision-making.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex security challenges and build relationships across the organization.

Essential Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
