Sr Strategic Sourcing Spec

As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Spec here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong strategic thinking and the ability to drive change across the organization.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

• Coordinate with vendors for new business bids. Help to coordinate the RFQ process
• Coordinate with suppliers to understand cost breakdowns and cost drivers
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing
• Excellent Project Management Experience
• Strong communication, analytical and cost negotiation skills
• Vendor management and contract management experience
• Strong cross functional experience.
