Create and maintain tools that manage hundreds of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters to provide rock solid foundation to enable Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) Expand ARO's global footprint by automating buildouts in new regions and sovereign clouds. Automate the build and release stack to enable engineers to manage and monitor dozens of microservices safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards. Provide product improvement feedback to AKS using our learned experience in managing AKS clusters. Balance pragmatism with vision and creativity; deliver continuous improvements to the team's process and codebase. Embody our culture and values. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Go, Rust, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Go, Rust, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Go, Rust, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Experience with Linux or similar Unix-like environments used on servers (e.g. BSD) Experience with Kubernetes, Golang, and Cloud Native solutions. Experience with ci/cd tools and processes, for example, but not limited to Azure DevOps, GitHub or GitLab. Experience collaborating, building, and maintaining medium and large programs that are actively developed by many other engineers.
