Within GLN, the Ventures & Acquisitions (V&A) team supports Accenture's mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and strategic investments by partnering with legal and business stakeholders across the globe to manage risk and enable successful transactions.
As an Acquisition Legal Counsel Associate Manager, you will support complex M&A and strategic investment transactions throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional deal teams, conduct legal due diligence, review and assess transaction-related documentation, identify legal risks, and contribute to the successful execution and integration of acquisitions in a dynamic international environment.
YOUR MISSION:
Provide legal support to Accenture’s M&A and strategic investment transactions, supporting legal due diligence exercises, identifying risks and mitigation plans, supporting Accenture’s M&A deal attorney in the negotiation of the transactions and the review of transactional documents in collaboration with legal and non-legal professionals supporting M&A and strategic investment transactions.
Responsibly provide support to key Accenture M&A stakeholders including M&A deal attorney, Procurement Plus V&A, Contracting, Legal Integration teams and other Legal teams in different geographies.
Document, review and draft the terms and conditions of different types of agreements and other documents relating to various target/acquired companies in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and stakeholders’ requirements.
Collaborate and coordinate with Accenture’s M&A deal attorney, Legal Integration Managers and Procurement Plus V&A Leads on the review of data room materials, in particular executed client, alliance and supplier agreements of the target companies.
Train the team members and develop checklists and process documents for pre- and post-acquisition legal support.
Directly liaising with internal stakeholders and deal teams on various legal and commercial issues.
Maintain contract / subcontract compliance in line with company policies and procedures and ensures issues are resolved.
Responsibly work at smaller engagements and/or work within team at a large, complex engagement.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to role, level, location, effort, responsibility, skillset, and level of experience. The range of base pay for this role is 2 550 € - 4 000 €.
We offer a language bonus on top of your monthly salary for German language skills.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s degree in Law
Minimum of 8 years of experience at law firm and/or as in-house counsel and experience in coordinating teamwork (or as individual contributor)
Experience in M&A practice with strong knowledge of M&A transactions, due diligence exercises, general corporate business practices, commercial contracting regulations, subcontracting practices and ability to apply skills creatively to diverse stakeholder needs
Fluency in English and German (B2+)
Demonstrated expertise in legal drafting, contract review, and transactional legal support, combined with strong analytical skills and sound judgment
Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, responsive, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
