Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AWS generative AI and machine learning services across your assigned geographic segments, identifying opportunities to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by gathering customer and industry insights, understanding business challenges, and positioning AWS solutions as the optimal choice for customers' AI initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers, solution architects, and account managers to innovate, develop, and deliver customer solutions while influencing the AWS product roadmap based on customer feedback.
- Drive customer and partner engagement by participating in field enablement activities, representing AWS at industry events, and creating thought leadership content that demonstrates AWS AI expertise.
- Identify market gaps and opportunities by analyzing customer needs and competitive landscapes, then collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies that win strategic workloads and accelerate business growth.
A day in the life
As a Senior Business Development Specialist focused on generative AI, you'll spend your time building and nurturing relationships with customers across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. You might start your day analyzing market trends and customer needs, then transition into strategic conversations with key stakeholders about how AWS AI services can solve their most pressing business challenges. You'll collaborate with product teams to understand what customers need, advocate for those insights, and help shape the future direction of our services. Throughout the week, you'll develop go-to-market strategies, participate in customer engagements and industry events, and work alongside account managers and technical architects to close strategic deals. Your role bridges the gap between what customers need and what AWS builds, making you instrumental in driving both adoption and innovation.

- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
