About the Role
This is a foundational product engineering role at a small, high-caliber founding team building an AI-native automation platform for private market operations. You will lead the design and build of the core interface where operations teams interact with AI agents — shaping the design system, review workflows, and human-in-the-loop UX that make agent output trustworthy and easy to act on. Your work will have outsized impact on how users experience AI at work, from day one.
The company is based in Berlin, Germany and operates on-site. Visa sponsorship is available.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain the company's design system and UX patterns for complex, workflow-driven applications.
Create product interfaces that connect users to AI agents and data sources (ERPs, banking systems, email, file storage, and more).
Build human-in-the-loop flows for reviewing, approving, and acting on agent-generated outputs — including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
Conduct user research with operations stakeholders to identify pain points and iteratively refine product features.
What We're Looking For
Required:
1–7 years of professional frontend development experience.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React.
Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS for UI styling.
Experience developing, documenting, or evolving design systems for complex applications.
A track record building workflow-driven interfaces that involve human review, exception handling, or approval steps.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Strong product intuition and UX craft.
Nice to have:
Interest in AI-agent products and designing for trust when presenting automated outputs.
Familiarity with private markets, fund accounting, or financial operations workflows.
Enthusiasm for joining a small founding team with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
