Position Description Materiel & Logistic Planner (Evening Shift) Global Location Canada, Valcourt Hiring Manager email maripier.lafontaine@brp.com Recruiter email justine.dufour@brp.com Apply Now Full-time evening position, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (with evening shift allowance) We're looking for a Material & Logistics Planner to plan, release and track the delivery of materials and parts needed for production; all to meet production schedules and keep inventories to a minimum using just-in-time principles.   You'll be at the heart of the action, working closely with suppliers and internal customers such as material handling, transportation, procurement, engineering and quality assurance teams. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Plan and follow up on parts deliveryInteract with suppliers and carriers to find creative solutions and avoid production shutdownsAnalyze the best strategies to meet just-in-time objectivesManage commercial relationships with suppliers and negotiate with the best interests of BRP in mindIdentify and coordinate areas of improvement in line with team objectivesEstablish recovery plans with suppliers and meet with them if necessary YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:Bachelor’s degree in administration, operations management or any other related field, or DEC (college diploma) in administration or any other related field and 18 to 36 months of experienceFluency in spoken and written French and English to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual Anglophone on a daily basisExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAPWillingness to travel when necessaryAutonomy and leadershipAbility to work under pressure in a changing environmentTeam player with solid priority management skillsExcellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and ability to negotiate. ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITYBRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
