As an Principal engineer in the Product Engineering organization at Marvell, you will be part of a brilliant team of engineers that solves complex problems. You will be working with the team & responsible for imagining, building, deploying, and running one or more of our products for mass production. In this role, you will setup the test program, hardware and test out the devices on one of the most advanced industrial test systems across our test locations in Asia. When devices or test issues are uncovered, you will perform fail analysis, debugging (software/hardware) and work closely with the various engineering & development groups to resolve the observed issues. Beside resolving devices testing issues, you will also undertake projects for cost reduction & continuous improvement.
- Setup & transfer new product & technology to test locations in Asia for mass production.
- Support & resolve device testing or program related issues.
- Maintain and enhance product test yield & quality of devices in final test, system level test as well as wafer & bump sort.
- Perform cost reduction activities e.g., product yield improvement, test insertion elimination, test time reduction, multiple test site enhancement & wafer sort implementation.
- Continuous improvement for product quality, test efficiency, production throughput & test hardware improvement
- Provide customer return verification support
What We're Looking For
- B.S. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- Basic understanding of product test methodology and implementation
- Knowledge of C, C++ programing language
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and failure debugging skills
- High attention to detail while working under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues
- Short notice travelling is required
- Hands-on knowledge on JMP statistical analysis tool and scripting languages such as Perl and Python are a plus
