Manager of Fund Accounting
Manager-Fund Accounting (Client Services)
Livingston, NJ (Hybrid-3 days weekly on-site)
Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm
Some of the things you will be doing:
The Manager will manage multiple client relationships ensuring superior client service with their client service team members.
Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds such as:
- Review financial statements, and support schedules (GAAP & OCBOA)
- Review SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468 preparation
- Review capital call & distribution calculations and letters
- Review waterfalls and partner capital account statements
- Coordinate with internal teams on client deliverables as needed
- Coach, mentor, and develop Senior Associates and Associates through performance feedback, technical training, and career development planning
- Daily client and team member interaction
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Perform internal administrative tasks, including document management and time tracking
- Review processes and make recommendations on how they can become more efficient
- Lead client discussions, provide technical guidance, and proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery
- Partner with clients and auditors ensure timely and accurate execution of year end audits
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to complex fund accounting and operational matters
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required (CPA preferred). Leadership experience in private equity, venture capital, private credit, or fund administration
- Strong understanding of partnership accounting, capital activity, waterfalls, allocations, and carried interest calculations.
- Experience preparing or reviewing fund financial statements under US GAAP
- Knowledge of SBIC accounting and SBA regulatory reporting is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling techniques, and data analysis tools
- Experience with fund accounting platforms such as Investran, Allvue, Geneva, or similar systems preferred
- Ability to leverage technology and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
- Experience delegating, training and supervising staff
- Experience managing client relationships
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,000 to $137,000.
